Anna Sage
"What a charming illusion"

Anna is pretty easy to get along with. She's a social butterfly, so she loves meeting new people and talking; Especailly talking. She's always been the talkative type. She generally trusts everyone to some degree at first. As she gets to know them, she'll learn to adjust how much she'd trust them. Once you break her trust, you lose her respect. Once you lose her respect, be ready to have a bitchy Brit on your ass. It's very difficult to get back, but It's not impossible. You might have to suck up to her a lot and do what it takes to earn it back; It takes a lot to break her trust. Of course, that all depends on what happens. A few ways to lose her respect is to betray her trust. Another sure fire way would be to continuously piss her off everyday. Whenever she tries to help people and they don't even try to help her in return or even try to listen to the advice she has, it gets old fast.

It pisses her off when people bitch and moan about their lives and act like their problems are more important. She knows plenty of people that are worse off and they don't bitch or anything. She, too, has her occasional problems and insecurities, but she's the last person to tell everyone around her. It should be said that she tends to hate people who act just like her because she can't fix her own problems. Some traits aren't bad, but she's insecure about what people truly think of her. She'll act like it doesn't bother her, but no one else will probably notice this about her. Not unless you're pretty close to her.

Along with her own insecurities, she hates idiots the most. According to Anna, Alec would fall into this category. She feels that he can't help but sound stupid every time he opens his mouth. Part of that might be because of how identical they are at times, which causes the love-hate friendship they have. People who think too highly of themselves pisses her off too, though she can be a little vain at times too. She'd love nothing more than to deck them when they try to act like they're all that and a bag of chips. Womanizers are definitely against her standards that she holds. She's asexual for the most part, but people who throw themselves at people annoy her. She doesn't particularly like being told what to do, but she does have some lenience towards it in general depending on who it is calling the shots.

She can be pretty sassy and has a bit of an attitude. She has a short fuse when she's distracted or busy with other work. It's more important to her when it's during an investigation. She's serious about her work. So far she may seem like a girl who's uptight and rude, but there's more that meets the eye. She's British, so she does have the accent. Her time in America has simmered it down a bit, but she still do have issue.

Sometimes she can be seen as crude due to the fact that she tends to swear a lot. Most the time, she ends up using either "bloody" or "bleeding". She's also been exposed to so many sexual jokes that her mind tends to roll in the gutter. It's to the point where it could practically live there. Of course, she knows when it's appropriate and when it is not appropriate. She also knows when it's best to keep to herself around certain people.

Aside from the normal traits that are already listed, she does have others that may or may not show as often as the others do. It's easy to say that she was just curious about what her powers meant and how she got them. Once she found out about the P.R.A., she was instantly curious about it; Maybe she could find the answer for some of the questions that she's had for so long? Still, she's too stubborn to easily admit that she was genuinely interested. In fact, when Sebastian approached her about it, she kept on dodging his question by replying with answers that showed little to no curiosity.

She gets pretty defensive at times and she'll dodge questions with different things. Once you call her out on it, she'll thoroughly deny it. She would much rather say that she changed her mind rather than admit to being wrong. There is more motivation to join the P.R.A. than she gives away. Her parents do care about her -- even if it's not as much as they should -- but she feels like they don't understand her and stopped trying all together for years. Once her powers surfaced by accident, they instantly thought she was nuts to the point they called her a monster. All she really wanted was love and support from her parents, but they went as far as to only speak to her -- at arms length -- when they needed to and disowned her. It's safe to say that she does not like her parents what-so-ever and refuses to talk to them if she can. The first signs of her illusions freaked her out, but she got over it in time. She got to the point where she wanted others who accepted her for her. She figured the best way to get both answers and acceptance was to enter the P.R.A., which makes these missions even more special to her.

Like everyone else, she has her likes and dislikes. While she hates womanizers and people who are full of themselves, she likes people who have a strong will and courage. She loves all types of food. She eats a lot, but she never seems to gain a lot of weight because she's either busy or exercising to stay fit. She doesn't exercise to lose weight as to just staying fit. She absolutely adores Chinese food. She has a big sweet tooth to add on to her big appetite; She loves her candy and deserts. She's pretty open when it comes to trying new food, but she doesn't like sea food that much. She'll eat it if she has to, but she definitely could do without it. She's a sucker for cute things and tends to have a somewhat one-track mind at times.

She hates arrogant people who think they're better than someone else. Most the time, she'll ignore them. If you ask her a stupid question, she'll most likely stare at you and say, "are you mental?" You'd either get that answer or completely ignore you. She doesn't really like authority too much, but it's a very minimal feeling. As long as you don't tell her what to do, how to do it, and when to do it, she won't mind as much. The only people she'll take orders from most the time are Rae, certain authority if the situation calls for it, or maybe -- if lucky -- teachers; Not that she really concerns herself with them much anymore.

At first she had a pretty heavy British accent and usage of slang, but a lot of it died down as she stayed in America. She still does use quite a bit of British slang. Alec -- another member of the P.R.A. -- looks girly and she would intentionally call him a girl or a nancy boy just to piss him off. Alec and her argue a lot. If you didn't know them, you'd probably find it impossible for them to be friends. They have a love-hate relationship to the point that they wouldn't seem like it, but they actually became pretty close friends in the end. A lot of crap came from Alec about her slang and confusion of some of the American slang.

The thing Anna really fears is abandonment. With having a special ability that she was born with, it made it hard for her to really fit in with people. She doesn't want to be left all alone. She doesn't really fear them, but she dispises her parents. Ever since the incident that cause them to find out about her powers, they'd constantly called her a monster and claimed that she wasn't their daughter. They shunned her for her ability rather than to protect her and embrace it. Due to the fact of disconnect in her family, she secretly fears commitment to a certain degree. She doesn't want to get too attached to anybody only to be hurt in the end.

Like everyone else, Anna has her weaknesses too. She has a glaring weakness that she really hates to point out or have pointed out. Her supernatural ability can be very useful and it evolves over time. However, it only works if she keeps her concentration. Her concentration can be broken easily if she's not careful. Not only that, for the time being, it only works on one person. People who have a strong enough will can break free from her illusions. Just like how some people break out of hypnosis, it's possible for them to break out of her illusions. She is slowly learning how to affect more than one person with her illusions though.

Mundane Strengths/Abilities
She does have some computer skills, but they aren't quite amazing yet. She can hack fairly easily, but she stilll has a long way to go. She generally just leaves that role to their computer technician, Henry; Really all she does is play assistant for him from time to time, but she does have a problem with hacking into things like email accounts from time to time if you're close enough to her. She can also physically fight if she ever needs to, but she'd rather not if she could avoid it.

Sensitivity/Magical Ability
Anna, as part of the Paranormal Rumor Agency (P.R.A.), has a special part in the group. Even though she is an add-on to the original group, she does well in going up into the ranks to eventually catches up with the other. One thing is common among most of them; Almost all of them have a certain supernatural ability. Anna's ability is not really suited for a heads-on attack as much as she is more useful as support or as a distraction. She's stares into somebody's eyes and concentrates to create an illusion, specially delivered just for them to see. They'll seem so real as if it's actually happening. They can vary from silly illusions to stuff that just scares the living shit out of them. It really just depends on her mood and her reasoning to do so.

. . . The Paranormal Rumor Agency. Founded seventy six years ago -- 1940 -- it has progressed phenomenally -- from humans with guns as weapons, to humans with extraordinary abilities. Each year, six new humans have been recruited.

Now 2016, New York, USA, the Paranormal Rumor Agency is disguised as the P.R.A. No one knows about it except the six teenagers working for it, and the people with paranormal problems, themselves. Things that need to be solved such as zombies, ghosts, or anything else superficial. Problems that need rumors added to help increase popularity (such as haunted houses, or maybe a new café) are also accepted -- hence the name. All that is needed is a simple phone call.

However, one month after being hired (or forced to work for the P.R.A.), the teenagers have heard of several reports. People going missing, people found dead on the streets -- and most of all, a new, suspicious group of people -- later found out to be the Linear Energy Acceleration Faculty (L.E.A.F.) -- almost the same age as them stealing their work. They are not registered as an official company, but people still call in for their help. Their motive; It's simple. The L.E.A.F. exists to cleanse the world of people they deem "impure" -- those who do not possess supernatural ability like they do. Or just the people who get in their way of anything.

Anna originally came from London, England. As fate would have it, she was forced to move to the United States due to her parents getting some good jobs. As much as she didn't want to move, she eventually gave in; Not that she had much of a choice. She was pretty open to America in general, but the change was a pain to deal with. She was admitted to a local school in New York. At first she seemed like the idol there; She was a foreigner after all.

She managed to catch the eyes of Sebastian Black. Sebastian started as a customer for the P.R.A. and he eventually became a member, though he has no actual supernatural ability. At first, he was just simply attracted to her. That changed to pure curiousity once he saw her use her ability on someone who was harrassing her. Of course he couldn't call her out on it just yet, but he could clearly see how terrified the guy was before he rushed off with his group of friends.

She displayed no desires for a boyfriend or any kind of romance while she was there. Her attention was brought up among the other P.R.A. members during a meeting they held one night. Since Sebastian had no actual abilities, they placed him on the simple duty of finding recruits. She ended up joining up as a new recruit among others after Sebastian continued to harass her about it. She showed leadership skills and other such skills that proved her worth during her time as a simple trainee. Due to these leadership skills that caught the other members' eyes, she quickly advanced to an equal rank as some of the other P.R.A. agents.

She was soon welcomed into the P.R.A. as if she had been there for just as long as the others had. She became a vital agent for the group. When it was time to recruit new possible agents once agian, Anna met Henry, a computer genius. She became an assistant to him during some missions.

Cell Phone
Just like any normal teenager these days, she's attached to her phone. She doesn't play too many games on it, but she has a few that she plays. Otherwise, it's filled with pictures, social media, and music/music streaming apps.

In Anna's profile, I have put together an information guide on her character to get the idea of who she is. I understand that it's a fairly big piece, so if you don't want to go through it, it's completely optional. However, the one thing that I need to address about it is that she is an Illusionist. She was born with the ability to create illusions that seems very real to the person influenced by it, but what happens in them cannot actually hurt you. If you're falling off of a sky scraper and hit the bottom, you're not actually falling and you will not get hurt or die from it. She is pretty good at it at this throughout her life span and she's actually working on expanding her abilities.

Just like I've noted above, her illusions feel very much real, but they are not actually happening to your character. The only way for something like that to happen would be if she was literally pushing you off of a sky scraper, but then that would break the illusion and it would no longer just be an illusion; Don't worry, she wouldn't actually push you off. But because it does feel extremely real, even if your character is used to her illusions, every time your character is caught in one, they will instantly feel like it's actually happening (unless they have a strong enough will to break out of it like one would in hypnotism or they have an ability to block her ability to do so.) Once they're out of the illusion though, they're come back to reality and instantly know it was just an illusion. No matter what they know though, once you're in it, you're in it for however long she holds it for and they won't be able to tell the difference between reality and illusion at that point of time. I hope you enjoy flapping your arms like an idiot and screaming like a baby for those around you to laugh at though.

Just about anything she can put her mind to, honestly. Falling off of a sky scraper was merely an example of what it could be. It can vary from person to person and the more she knows about a person, the more personable she can make it for them. If your character is afraid of bats? Suddenly they might see themselves in a dark room filled with bats going nuts around them trying to attack them. You afraid of drowning? Well, now you're suddenly in the middle of the ocean and you're trying to stay afloat and survive. Those are just a few examples and they have a pattern to them. If she can figure out what fears they have, she can attune her illusions to add that little kick, depending on her reasoning to do so. The more information, the better; but she can still whip up something generic if need be. Just remember that she's not a mind reader. She can't instantly know what they are unless she finds out information first. If your character is afraid of spiders but they've never showed that to her or told her, she would have no idea. It is possible to learn from other people though.

As I've stated before, it can last as long as she wants it to. Although a factor to consider is that she needs to have they right concentration to do so. If that is broken, it is possible to break the illusion. She's not perfect and it is possible, but considering this is her ability, she's been working on keeping composure for long periods of time. She's still human in the end and eventually she'll have to stop though. If she's trolling you or unamused, it generally won't last that long; Just long enough for the person to get the point that they need to knock it off. If it's for an actual purpose, it just depends on how long is needed.

The beauty of this game is that everyone comes from different worlds and have different abilities. Naturally if you're able to avoid illusions, you can just assume that she got blocked off. Much like hypnotism, not everyone can be swayed and they'll just go on without realizing she's even trying it. If they can somehow sense her trying, feel free to play off of that, but I doubt that's the case, so just assume they go about their lives per usual.
